    The “Acoustic Beam Forming Array Using Feedback-Controlled Microphones for Tuning and Self-Matching of Frequency Response” is a feedback-controlled microphone that includes a membrane operatively connected to the microphone body and configured to be deflected by acoustic pressure in such a way that the deflection is characterized by a frequency response. The method can be used to keep microphone costs down while still providing good accuracy.

    The technology offers an increased measure of conditions, allowing for greater predictive capabilities

    The “Method And Apparatus For Measuring Surface Air Pressure” incorporates the use of a low-power laser frequency specific to the known oxygen band. By using this narrow band, researchers are able to measure surface level oxygen density and subsequently, air pressure. The increased knowledge of localized air pressure will significantly enhance the predictive power of weather forecasting models and allow for the development of new models.

    The system offers user-control interaction with video game system s via the user’s physiological signals.

    The “Team Electronic Gameplay Combining Different Means of Control” technology has enabled modulation of the manual inputs that a player makes to joysticks, controllers, and image recognition video input devices. The new input device allows a player to control inputs to a video game by adjusting his/her physiological state, such as heart rate and breathing, in addition to standard controller or video inputs. This allows for an entirely new approach to integrating psychophysiological signals into game play.

    A prototyping platform of the distributed system


    The “Fault-Tolerant Self-Stabilizing Distributed Clock Synchronization Protocol for Arbitrary Digraphs” is a distributed clock synchronization method, along with a distributed system that uses the method to achieve and maintain clock synchrony. The technology is suitable for multiple applications where self-stabilization can be used to design more robust distributed systems, including computer networks and telecommunication systems.
